Bee Sting

I wish I could remember when I copied this item from the RSS feeds: Snopes - Einstein on Bees. Did Albert Einstein predict that if something eliminated bees from our planet, mankind would soon perish? This is interesting because recent items on some of the feeds have told of the death of large numbers of bees in the US. The cause was unknown. So what was Einstein's bee prediction?
